Conducted an online discussion board across one week, interacting with 25 Singaporean parents whose children spend at least 5 hours a week watching television programs, stratified by age and gender.
With close moderation of the dicussion board, we were able to understand the concerns parents have with shows that are marketed towards children but are not educational or could potentially encourage bad habits. Parents expressed their helplessness despite wanting more control over the content their children are exposed to, due to the ease of accessing content on the Internet.
