Sponsorship of the Public Affairs Asia Gold Standard Awards

Pacific Group announced that it was recently one of the
sponsors of Public Affairs Asia Gold Standard Awards, where
its Group President Irwin Hankins presented the Gold Award
for the Country and Trade Promotion category to the winner,
New Zealand Trade & Enterprise (HK) in early February (see

The Company has also become
their research partner for ongoing polls of the Public
Affairs and CSR communities around the AP region.
Said Mr Hankins after the
announcement was made; "As a research and polling company
which has been conducting high level polls of CSR,
Government & regulatory as well as political audiences,
among many others, for over a decade throughout Asia, this
relationship is perfectly synergistic for us... we have
similar audiences and clients, and well complement each
other"
New Leadership for TRA
At its recent annual conference in Milan, The Research
Alliance global research network elected Irwin Hankins
(President of Research Pacific Group, Asia) and Rune Broo
(Managing Director of Intermetra, Sweden) as co-Chairmen.
Stepping down after 6 years as Chairman of TRA, Keith Bates
(Managing Director of Marketing Sciences, UK) said 'The
network is now able to offer our international clients a
very strong set of partner agencies around the world, and I
am certain that Irwin and Rune will bring inspirational
leadership to build upon our success together'.
